I sat down with a pile of magazines and looked and looked for something I want to lift...no luck. Then I looked through all of the items that I starred on Google Reader...no luck. Then, as I was going through that days blog posts, I found it!! Kristina Werner, who is one of my faves, posted a video tutorial on a layout she did for Basic Grey's Basic Inspiration Class. I really thought the layout was adorable, so I decided to give it a try.
Here is my version of what Kristina Werner did....
I couldn't pass up using this adorable photo of my precious Lucy and I. Last summer we took a 3000 mile trip on our Harley and Lucy went with us. This photo was taken on the side of the road by a beautiful creek while riding through LoLo Pass in Idaho.
You can see Kristina Werner's layout and video at the Basic Grey website.
Hope you are having a wonderful Monday!
Interested in what I used?
Here's the list...
DP & Letters - Sassafras Hog Heaven collection
Cardstock - Taken with Teal and Choc Chip by SU! and the pink is from my stash
Stamp - Sassafras Stunning Spirals
Uniball White Gel Pen
Zig black journaling pen
Ink - Color Box Chalk ink in Warm Red
Love it Kristina. I love the squares and the way you used the colour red. I also like that you matted the photo in black making it really stand out. Another stunning layout :)
