90 Followers and a Watermark!

I have 90 wonderful followers. I hope you know how much I appreciate you and all of the wonderful comments that are left on my blog.

I love to craft, and I really love to share it with my blogging friends. And I do mean friends. Out of this experience I have been able to get to know some wonderful ladies. In fact...my once BBF (Best Blog Friend) is now one of my best real life friends!

I want to do a giveaway when I hit 100 followers! I have been collecting some wonder "papercrafting goodness" (as Beth would say) to give away to one of you.

Be sure to come and visit me at Papercraft Star and ScrapTiffany and play along with all of the challenges.
It's always lots of fun and there is tons of great inspiration.

Cross your fingers and help me get to 100...and we will have a party...a paper crafting giveaway party!!

Okay, on to the watermark. The photo program I have on my MAC doesn't make a watermark. I was ready to pay for PhotoShop, just for that reason alone. THEN, I found out I could download a "plug-in" for iPhoto to make a watermark....and it's FREE!

Monochromatic Anyone?

Happy Monday to you all! I had a fabulous time at Beth's house last week. We had a great time crafting together and thinking up some wonderful ideas.

While I was there I was able to create a project for my 2nd challenge over at Scrap Tiffany. Tiffany challenged us to make something monochromatic. I decided to go with black. This was a fun card for me because I LOVE to clear emboss on black paper!! Plus I actually did some sewing on the card, that was a first for me.

Here is what I came up with.....

Stamp by Hero Arts

Fishing or Crafting?

That is the question of the day....

I am having so much fun hanging out here in Michigan with my friend and co-founder of Papercraft Star, Beth!! We have been hanging out, shopping, crafting, watching movies, and laughing. We were just sitting here trying to decide if we want to go fishing or craft some more tomorrow. I think crafting might just win the vote!

We are going to work on downloading some pictures tonight so I can share a few on here with you guys. I hope you are all having a fantastic week!

My First Project as a Tiffany Girl!

Hi there!
I can't tell you how excited I am to be a part of the Scrap Tiffany DT!
Our first challenge was to do a "self portrait". HHmmm..ya know I have quite a few sides to my "self", I am a Gemini ya know. So, choosing something to described myself was pretty interesting. Rick and I have been talking about retirement A LOT recently. One of our dreams is to have a hobby farm. Rick likes to have a garden for fruits and veggies and he likes to hunt for meat (we eat Elk most of the time). Me, I like... no make that LOVE animals. I want chickens for eggs, goats for milk/cheese/weed eaters/pets, and maybe a few more dogs. ( I only say "maybe" about more dogs for Rick's benefit....we will have more dogs..he he)

Okay, enough with the blah blah blah, here is my layout.

Be sure to head on over to Scrap Tiffany and see what the other DT members have created and join in the challenge!

Interested in the products I used?
Here's the list:

DP by Jillibean Soup - Chicken Noodle Collection
Chipboard Letters by Heidi Grace (modified with Copic markers)

Cuttlebug Challenge #90

When I saw that the Cuttlebug Challenge was an easel card, I was all in. So instead of hanging out with my husband last night, I retreated to my craft room. He was so cute, he would come up every once in a while and peek over my shoulder. For some reason he is amazed by what all my gadgets can do :)

I had a lot of fun with this one! I got to play with my new Live Simply Cricut Lite cartridge, I tried out a few new techniques, and finally use more of this great paper by K&Co.

Thanks for stopping by my little piece of the world!
