Stained Glass Card

Halfway through another week, can you believe it? Time is just flying by!
I was asked to make a birthday card by a friend of ours and I wanted to share it with you. I used one of my new stamps from Rubbernecker Stamps. It was really great to work with and I think the card came out just like I had imagined it would.

I colored the stamp with my Prisma colored pencils and then blended it with Gamsol. After all of the coloring was done, I covered the whole thing with Glossy Accents. It is very shiny in person and I hope you can see that in the photo. That flower was very....very...well let's just say, it took a long time and I'm not sure if I love it enough to do it again. I put a white panel on the inside and stamped Happy Birthday in black, there is plenty of room left to write a birthday message.

A new challenge is starting today at Papercraft Star, be sure to head over and check it out!
I hope you are having a great week, thanks for stopping by!

  1. awesome. is the whole image a stamp?

  2. never mind...I just saw it on one of the posts that is a whole image. That is pretty cool! Love how you colored it. :)

  3. i just blew up the pic and you can really see what a great coloring job you did and the shine of the glossy accents. I love stained glass. It really doesn't matter what the picture is, it's going to look good. :)

  4. This is beautiful Kristina... I haven't seen a card like this before... it looks just like stained glass! Awesome!

I have to admit...I LOVE comments!! Thank you so much for stopping by my little piece of the world. Have a great day!
