Two posts in one day!! Can you believe it?
I worked on a little birthday gift this weekend but I still needed to make a card to go with it. Then this morning I saw the daily challenge at 365 Cards and decided to use the recipe for today to make the card.
I made another simple little mini album/book for a friend of mine. Her birthday party is coming up this weekend. I'm hoping that she will enjoy it and maybe even put some photos of the party in it.
The card I made follows the recipe at 365 Cards.
5.5 X 4.25 card - check
3 X 3 Patterned Paper - check
Stitching - check
3 rhinestones - check
Sentiment - check
1 stamped image - check (but I embossed it...hope that counts!)
Head on over to 365 Cards and play along with me!
Thanks for stopping by.
Interested in what I used?
Here's the list:
DP - Scenic Route
CS - StampinUp
Stamps - Stampin Up
Rhinestones & Pearls - from my stash
Stiching on card - #15 on my Singer
Ribbon - StampinUp and PTI
Distress Ink - Tea Dye
Twine - Dollar General Store (hardware section)

Hi Kristina,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely gift, your friend will be so pleased with it. I hope she puts her photo's of the party in it, or she could use it as a little family handbag album, I love them...are they called Brag Books?
You have made a fab job of both of them.
I am in the middle of two scrapbook albums at the mo, one a baby book the other a 60th man's birthday book (couldn't be more differnet. LOL)
I am enjoying doing them both. Debbiexx
This is so pretty, I still love that paper!
ReplyDeleteYIPPEE - and well done at 365 Cards !! Top three, that is not easy over there. I campaigned hard for it, but bribery and sweet words did not win them over. A guest designer spot there is fun, and will generate a LOT of traffic here. Oh yeh, and what a darling card for today too.
ReplyDeleteLovely card! What a great mini alnum! I am definitely going to have to check out that blog!
