Two posts in one day, yippie for me...LOL
I saw this sketch over at CPS and I instantly had an idea.
I went to work right away and it came together close to what I had imagined. I used the three little squares as a hinge for the card to open. I played with one of my new dies and a new technique I learned at the Stamp and Scrapbook Expo I went to last weekend. The butterfly is made out of coffee filters, distress ink, and glimmer mist. It is SUPER sparkly in person, I just don't think it showed up as much in the photo. I started to add some flowers to the birdcage, but it just got really fussy looking. So, I took them off and stuck to a more clean line and let the butterfly be the star of the show. I hope you enjoy!
