Thoughts for Thursday

Hi everybody! I hope this post finds you doing well. I came across a few new things this week and I have already given them a try, so I wanted to share them with you.

If you follow Creations with Christina you may have seen this tutorial she posted last Thursday for the Matchbook Tag Holder. I gave it a try on a mini album I just finished (which you will see Nov 7th) and it was actually really easy and super cute.  Here is a sneak peek..

Yesterday I watched a video on Jennifer McGuire's  blog, Holiday Thinking Inking Week 4. I was totally inspired! When I went into my craft room to work on some upcoming DT projects I was hitting a mental road block. Everything I was trying just was NOT pleasing to my eye. Then a light bulb went off and decided to give Jennifer's idea a try. WOW oh WOW do I LOVE how this turned out. The whole layout is better than I could have EVER imagined. I went a little outside of the box for myself of this one, using things that I normally wouldn't think to grab, but I am in love! Is that a bad thing to say about your own work? I hope not because I LOVE IT, sure hope you do too or boy am I gonna feel stupid..LOL
You'll get to see that layout on Monday.

I hope you are all having a great week!!
