My family and I don't really "do" Halloween. Oh sure, the kids dressed up when they were younger and we did carve pumpkins but we never decorated the house and never tried to scare the kids when they came to the door. This year will be my sons last year to trick or treat (something about kids bigger than me standing at my door with a pillowcase turns me off, a quirk I inherited from my dad for sure.) and we don't have any plans to carve a pumpkin. I do hand out candy and I do like seeing the little ones come to my door, but I am just not a big fan of the holiday. Sorry if I have disappointed some of you :(
Anyway, the challenge at ScrapTiffany this week is Halloween......big huge sputter and gasp...what was I to do? I made a pumpkin card, that's what I did. I used all card stock (no Halloween paper in my stash) and my handy dandy Doodlecharms Cricut Cartridge.
I just love how this little guy/gal turned out. I hand cut the grass and the leaves are some old stickers I had in my stash. The green one was actually a really bright green, but I colored it with my copics to make it match. The cute sentiment stamp was a gift from my friend Beth, thanks girlie!
Why don't you brew up your own Halloween creation and send it in to ScrapTiffany and play along with me. You can email it to tiffany@scraptiffany.com
Be sure to see what the other ladies on the DT did for Halloween, you can see it right HERE.
