Another Challenge! OCCSC13

Hi everybody!! I hope you are all having a great day. The weekend is in sight and boy am I looking forward to it.

Here is my submission for OCCSC13. I have been doing so much "cute" recently, I decided to change it up a bit. Hope you like it!!

I love these papers by Basic Grey and the oval cut from the Wild Card cartridge. I inked it up with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and then did several layers of UTEE on it.  It's super glossy in person!!

Poodle Purse

Hi there!!

I wanted to participate in the Cuttlebug Challenge today and make a purse. I knew I was going to use Create a Critter again and I knew exactly which paper I was going to use. I LOVE a well thought out plan!!

This is what I came up with...

I think it is so darn cute!! But, do you see anything missing...??.......ummm yeah...I forgot to incorporate the cuttlebug!! Soooooo, I won't post it over at the Cuttlebug Challenge. I'll just post it here for you to look at :)
You should hop over there though.....there are some AMAZING realistic purses pictured by the design team!

So, it looks like I am supposed to pass this award on to 5 bloggers and list 10 things that make me happy. You know, things that make me happy change..sometimes on a daily basis! However, there are a few things that never change. But wait, I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's do the 5 bloggers first.

Okay, now on to the 10 things...

1. My husband, he is truly an amazing man. He makes me feel loved and adored everyday!

2. My kids, even though my son has lost his mind in puberty land right now!

3. My dogs, they keep me company. They keep my feet warm. They always give me kisses when they can sense that I'm having a rough time.

4.  Steak and shrimp fajitas with a house margarita from The Loop still makes me happy!

5. Rides on the Harley still excite me. The world is an amazing place from the back of a MC! Did you know that you can sleep, read, and eat icecream cones on the back of an MC? Yep, you can...all while holding your chihuahua!!

6. Coffee! It makes me really happy....and the people around me are really happy when I drink it too!! My husband makes me coffee everyday and on the weekends he even delivers!

7. My volunteer work, both with National Mill Dog Rescue and Junior Achievement.

8. Cooking. I love to cook, always have for as long as I can remember. We sit down and have dinner together at the table, as a family, no tv, no cell phones at least 5 night a week.

9. Knowing that I am going on vacation very very soon!! I am so excited about this trip, a little stressed about the prep, but sill super excited.

10. CRAFTING!! You know I can't leave that out. I love reading about, shopping for, blog and youtube surfing, learning about, and doing crafts....mostly paper crafts.

Mother's Day Paper Cutz Challenge & Papertake Weekly Do Something Different

Hi again.....2 posts in one day!!
I wanted to post this yesterday but I had to wait until I had permission to post it. It contains pictures of the little girl that I nanny for and I didn't want to put it up until her mom said it was ok. Well, she gave me a thumbs up this morning and so here it is. Actually, I hope she doesn't see this because it's her Mother's Day gift!! This is a super fun project and if you have never made one you should give it a go. I have printed instructions so if you are interested, email me and I can send them to you!! I'm submitting this into the Paper Cutz Challenge #38. It also fits right in with Papertake Weekly.

Here is the front....looks like a regular card.....right? (create a critter again..told ya I love it!)

There is room for 3 full size photos and two smaller ones...if you wanted to get really tiny, there are several places for more. Isn't she adorable!!?!!
