I'm moving!

Well, my craft space is moving anyway. 

I'm getting a craft room!! I am so excited, you can't even imagine. I convinced my husband to move our son into the basement and let me have his bedroom for my crafts. How is a girl supposed to create without the proper amount of space, I mean really....

Moving Eric down to the basement means that we give up having a guest bedroom, so if you ever come visit me you'll be sleeping on a blowup mattress from now on. Or, there is a Double Tree right down the road ;)

I'll probably have to hold off on painting it right now because I have lots of deadlines coming up real soon and I just need to get it set up and usable. But, it will get painted.... eventually. My goal is to be all moved in and settled by the end of Sunday.

An Altered Frame Project

Hey all!

Last night my scrapbooking gang got together to make an altered frame. I really wish that I would have taken a before picture of my frame. Let me just say, it wasn't pretty. I picked it up at Wal-Mart for $3, it was black with gold trim. It really needed help.

I used some plain cream paper, one patterned paper, a stamp, some distress ink in Vintage Photo, lots of Mod Podge, some jute, and a couple of buttons. VIOLA!!

I really LOVE how it turned out!!

Oh Boy!

I got some exciting news! I have been asked to nanny for a brand new baby boy. We are going to visit him today and bring him a little gift. Since I haven't been crafting for 2 weeks, I decided to get my feet wet with a baby card. It's not my best, but hey...how can anything made with create a critter not be cute!?!

I'm BACK.........

I am finally home and have my house back to myself!! It was a really fun two weeks, but I'm exhausted. I need another vacation just to recover :)

I have a few pictures to share with you today and then I will be back in the crafting game!! I am excited for Saturday because my scrapbooking group is getting together to do an altered frame project. I hope it turns out great so I won't be too embarrassed to show it to you...hehe

Can I just say, I wanted to bring that little Kid home with me. He was the most adorable thing EVER!! He was just 2 weeks old and was so calm while I was holding him. And that Rooster was a beautiful guy!! His colors were amazing. (Can you tell I wish that I lived on a farm? Oh well, someday)

Just an update....

Hello by blogging friends!

Just wanted to pop in and give you and update on my adventure. My step-daughter, Rachael, graduated last night and I got to visit with one of my BEST friends in the world!! Today is a day of BBQ's and catching up with old friends. Saturday is our family reunion. Sunday will be a day of rest and packing so that we can hit the road Monday morning. I will be back to my own little world on Tuesday. So watch out...I'll be back with you guys on Wednesday. I have really missed my crafting family!! AND, I am getting SUPER excited about the launch of Papercraft Star, it's coming on June 23rd!!
